This position will assist in supervising the Behavioral Health Outreach Programs which includes the City Hall Park Neighborhood Outreach King County Metro Terminal Support and the Sound Transit Downtown LightRail outreach teams. These teams are responsible for responding to behavioral health crises that occur in the City Hall Park Neighborhood of downtown Seattle bus transit centers (Burien Transit Center and Aurora Village Transit Centers) and the downtown light rail stations. The teams provide assistance and/or intervention to persons who are experiencing crisis homelessness and/or behavioral health issues within the designated outreach areas. Interventions include community engagement outreach deescalation screening by visual inspection and brief conversation to determine the need for services and referrals for service.

WORK SCHEDULE/CONDITIONS:
Work Schedule: This position is exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime. Typical hours areMondayFriday 1:00pm to 9:00pm with a rotation of afterhour on call coverage.This position is not represented by a union.
