Job Description
Partner Staffingis currently working withour client seeking experienced and motivated TransportationTechnologists at all levels (Junior Intermediate Senior) to join theirdynamic team in Calgary. The successful candidates will assist in theplanning design and implementation of transportation infrastructure projectsincluding roads highways bridges and transit systems. Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and review of transportation engineeringdesigns drawings and specifications.
- Conduct field surveys data collection and analysis to support projectdevelopment.
- Prepare cost estimates technical reports and project documentation.
- Collaborate with engineers technologists and other team members toensure project objectives are met.
- Participate in the preparation and review of traffic studies impactassessments and feasibility studies.
- Ensure compliance with local provincial and federal regulations andstandards.
- Provide technical support during construction phases including siteinspections and addressing technical issues.
- Participate in public consultations and stakeholder engagementprocesses.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices andprocesses.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field.
- Certification or eligibility for certification with ASET (Association ofScience & Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta).
- Relevant experience in transportation engineering or a related field:
- Junior Level: 03 years of experience.
- Intermediate Level: 37 years of experience.
- Senior Level: 7 years of experience.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D andtraffic analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of transportation planning principles trafficengineering and geometric design standards.
- Excellent communication organizational and problemsolving skills.
