Description
Hire Resolves Client is currently looking for a Senior Exploration Geologist 1Year FTC) to join their mining/consulting company based in the Western Cape.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement exploration strategies aligned with company objectives.
Plan coordinate and execute geological mapping geochemical surveys and drilling programs.
Ensure compliance with South African mining regulations environmental laws and safety standards.
Manage budgets schedules and resources for exploration projects.
Conduct fieldwork to identify and evaluate mineralized zones.
Oversee core logging sampling and geotechnical assessments.
Interpret geological geochemical and geophysical data to assess ore body potential
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- BSc Degree/BSc Hons Degree in Geology or equivalent
- Registered with SACNASP/GSSA
- Experience in Micromine Leapfrog Datamine QGIS MaxGeo
- 5 8 years experience in mining/consulting
- Valid Drivers License
