Our team is looking for PartTime Facilities Staff at the Maine Sports Arena to support our stakeholders coming in and out of the Facility. The expectation is that our staff can commit to working at least 10 hours/week including weekends up to 25 hours if desired.
Typical shifts range from the following:
- Monday Friday: 3:00 pm 10:00 pm
- Weekend shifts between 6:00 am 10:00 pm
Heres what youll be doing Key Job Responsibilities:
Facility Management:
Facility Management:
- Assisting the Facility Manager with daily operations such as:
- Opening/closing the of the building (prior to arrival of stakeholders after they leave etc.
- Supervision of the immediate lobby area
- Setup/take down and relocation of sports equipment where designated
- Maintain cleanliness of reception area basketball and turf surfaces restrooms etc.
- Report maintenance issues as they arise/as needed
Customer Service:
- Answer questions from key stakeholders coming into the Facility such as families of athletes and athletes themselves
Safety:
- Ensuring the facility is a safe environment following safety health and environmental laws
- Assuring those utilizing the Facility have signed appropriate paperwork/waivers
- Promote sportsmanship of members and guests
- Maintain a strong knowledge and enforce all guidelines and procedures
Expectations:
Dependability: You are our rock in maintaining and operating the facility. Ability to depend on you in terms of showing up ontime and being a responsible employee of the facility you keep us running and again are often the first impression someone may have when entering the facility.
Reliability: We cant say it enough be a reliable point person for our team be on time even early to open the doors for people to come in

- Ability to communicate effectively and be a positive representative of 3STEP Sports and the Fieldhouse Sudbury you are the first impression that people will have when they walk in!
- Communication between staff and supervisor should exist on a daily basis even if you are not scheduled. Everyone is responsible for content and then followup when needed through our group messaging
- If you have a conflict come up let us know as soon as you can we understand things can come up you providing us notice allows us to ensure we have a person in place to be heading our Facility

- Connecting with Stakeholders people ranging from Head of Athletics at local high schools or colleges to prior D1 Athletes are coming in and out of our building. Not only will this provide you with learning how to communicate and connect with key partners but also give you a chance to establish relationships with people around the community
