Description
The Print Software Program Delivery team is looking for a strong candidate to coordinate complex deliveries from multiple scrum teams as a Team of Teams Program Manager for DataOS. The candidate will be responsible for managing schedules & commitments monitoring progress against milestones managing escalations and providing concise updates to leadership.
Responsible for working with technical partners to scope and define the technical design driving and delivery of a software feature solution or product. Serves as the bridge between crossfunctional teams including marketing Design and R&D. Partners with Product Owners to refine the requirements and distribute work into logical customer valued deliverables and opportunistically identifies synergies with HPs existing systems. Responsible for defining the overall approach and architecture with the team and is accountable for defining the overall quality plan for that feature solution or product and ensuring the ontime delivery escalating as necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitates the planning and of complex projects or programs in support of the continuing evolution of the organizations software products.
- Partners with crossfunctional software development teams to help them prioritize plan track and execute complex cross organizational programs.
- Continuously assesses and improves the processes that comprise the software development lifecycle.
- Provides technical leadership and guidance to ensure that solutions meet quality and performance standards.
- Communicates project status progress and challenges through regular reporting and presentations to leadership.
- Ensures that all stakeholders are aligned towards a common goal by meeting and receiving feedback on an ongoing basis.
- Drives and tracks software releases features and bug fixes testing and documentation.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Experience in developing commercial software products using agile development practices.
- Expertise in managing crossorganizational software development projects from initiation through delivery.
- Familiarity with Big Data concepts and AWS (Amazon Web Services)
- Experience with data management and leading data management projects/programs.
- Handson experience with developing and reporting on metrics for engineering development.
- Analytical and problemsolving experiences with largescale systems.
- Comprehensive experience with a controlled software release process involving a product lifecycle management tool.

- Viewed as a leader within the program management practice.
- Decisions significantly affect the quality and success of team projects and have impacts on programs that may last up to a year.
- Impacts function and leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in crossfunctional initiatives.
Complexity:
- Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an indepth evaluation of multiple factors.
- Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas. Successfully operates in HPs most complex disciplines.
- Provides highly innovative solutions. Leads large crossdivision functional teams or projects that affect the organizations longterm goals and objectives. May participate in crossdivision multifunction teams. Provides mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.
Education & Experience:
Fouryear or Graduate Degree in Computer Science Information Technology Business Management or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has 710 years of work experience preferably in program/project management scrum master professional technology organization or a related field.
