CLIN AST/ASO/FULL PROF
The Department of Surgery and the Cardiovascular Center at the University of Florida College of Medicine Jacksonville (UF COMJ) is seeking a Vascular surgeonat the nontenure accruing level of Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Department of Surgery and the Cardiovascular Center boasts a team of boardcertified and fellowshiptrained cardiologists cardiovascular surgeons and vascular surgeons who work side by side to care for patients with cardiac thoracic and vascular conditions at UF Health Jacksonville a tertiary care teaching hospital and a regional referral center for specialty care. The mission and vision of the department is to be the regions most valued surgical health care asset with the nations best surgical care at your doorstep.
The Department of Surgery and the Cardiovascular Center are extremely active clinically academically and educationally. Pioneering innovative approaches to the management of vascular trauma we are poised for significant growth in vascular care as we expand the elective surgical practice throughout the Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia region. We are seeking a candidate with broad clinical experience in vascular surgery with a particular interest in endovascular therapies. Major responsibilities include patient care teaching and research.
This position will academically report to the Chair of the Department of Surgery and operationally to the Medical Director of the Cardiovascular Center at the UF COMJ. Every faculty member in the department will have a mentoring team assigned to them and participate in the department wide faculty development program.

Candidates should have a MD/DO and fellowship training in Vascular Surgery
BE/BC is preferred. Experience in all aspects of the evaluation and treatment of aortic diseases lower extremity occlusive disease complex hemodialysis access and the full spectrum of venous diseases.
