The ideal candidate is selfmotivated a quick learner able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines successful verbal and written communicator able to work well in a team environment and have a positive attitude.
- Pull parts daily to fill the service tickets
- Able to access online Service Manuals and IPLs to perform research and assistance to the technicians while in the field
- Ability to multitask as can be high volume and quick paced environment
- Drive company van daily to pick up parts at local Distributor
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers management and the public
- Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance punctuality personal appearance and adhere to the companys policies and relevant health and safety procedures
- Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Parts Department Manager as needed which may include crosstraining in related positions
- Job Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Basic Computer Skills and Basic Data Entry Skills
- Knowledge of inventory control
- The ability to safely lift 50 pounds and the physical ability to work under varied circumstances and environments (office warehouse etc)
- Day Shift (MondayFriday) 7AM 5PM 100 onsite)
As an appliance repair technician youll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words youll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances portable appliances mechanical work as well as electrical work.
Youll deal with more than just appliances though as a repair technician youll have to deal with people too.
Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude have impeccable written and verbal communication skills work adeptly with repair tools be okay with lifting heavy machinery and of course be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
