Founding Engineer Frontend
Location: Bangalore WeWork Embassy Tech Village (No Remote/Hybrid please)

Oodles mission is to build an iconic observability company! Oodle oodle.ai enables developer and SRE teams to handle 10x more data at a tenth of the price. Oodle is disrupting Observability just like snowflake has disrupted data warehousing. We are taking a unique and fundamentally new architectural approach to Observability by building a unified experience for logs metrics and traces. Were a seed funded company backed by the top tier VCs in the Observability and Infra/AI spaces. We deeply care about diverse teams especially diversity of thought and perspective.
The founders are serial entrepreneurs (exRubrik AWS YC and IIT Alumni) who have built world class teams over the last decade. They lived through observability pain points for 8 years both as a buyer at a high scale company for 4.5 years (Rubrik) and as a company builder selling to the same buyer 4 years at YC Startup.Our team has built and launched worldclass products like Rubrik Security Cloud AWS S3 DynamoDB and Snowhouse at Snowflake. The team has not only cofounded startups but also understands how to scale them.
ABOUT THE JOB
Frontend Software Engineers in Oodle work directly with founders backend software engineers and designers using Figma TypeScript GraphQL Material and React. Weve a fantastic designer already on board who will be working closely with you.
As a Founding Frontend Engineer on the team you will be get to:
Disrupt a large existing market with delightful user experiences and deep technical insights. Youll be on the ground floor of creating a product like Snowflake Rubrik DataBricks Confluent..
Architect efficient and reusable frontend systems that drive complex web applications
Wear multiple hats rapid experimentation to find customer needs talking to customers eliminating ambiguity and focusing/deciding on the things that matter. Your voice matters!
Collaborate with Product Designers Product Managers and Software Engineers to deliver compelling userfacing products
Identify performance bottlenecks and help scale the system
Set the foundation for the company culture and help grow the team

Must Haves:
Entrepreneurial mindset you cant stop thinking about starting a company one day or want to be a part of journey creating something extraordinary that everyone thought was barely possible
Appetite for bringing consumer grade simplicity to enterprise observability products.
5 years of relevant work experience: JavaScript React JS including concepts like asynchronous programming closures types and ES6. Fluency in HTML CSS and related web technologies.
Strong sense of web design.
Nice to Haves:
Ability to operate as a generalist frontend designer fullstack engineer on a as needed basis. Familiarity with the whole web stack including protocols and web server optimization techniques.
Familiarity with one or more of the following areas: LLMs and AI.
Experience developing userfacing software for observability products.
