The Department of Emergency Medicine at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School invites applicants to apply for a faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Department of Emergency Medicine. Duties will include providing emergent adult and/or pediatric clinical care within the Emergency Room contribute to further developing and expanding upon the clinical service at University Hospital bedside teaching of residents students and contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement projects at University Hospital.

New Jerseys academic health center Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences RBHS takes an integrated approach to educating students providing clinical care and conducting research all with the goal of improving human health. This position is at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School NJMS in Newark NJ. Aligned with Rutgers UniversityNew Brunswick and collaborating universitywide RBHS includes eight schools a behavioral health network and five centers and institutes that focus on cancer treatment and research neuroscience advanced biotechnology and medicine environmental and occupational health and health care policy and aging research. RBHS has recently agreed to a public/private partnership with RWJBarnabas Health which will broaden the scope and reach to all New Jerseyans. Our faculty are teachers clinicians and scientists with unparalleled experience who advance medical innovation and provide patient care informed by the latest research findings. We offer an outstanding education in medicine dentistry pharmacy public health nursing biomedical research and the full spectrum of allied health careers.
