A PostDoctoral Fellow position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Kavitha Sarma. The Sarma lab investigates mechanisms of gene regulation through RNAcontaining chromatin using neurodifferentiation and cancer models. Candidates with strong interest in gene regulation chromatin architecture epigenetic mechanisms and noncoding RNA biology are encouraged to apply. A strong background in molecular biology is required and some experience in analysis of genomics datasets (eg. RNAseq ChIPseq CUT&RUN) is ideal. Candidates with experience using CRISPR screens will be given preference.
