Junior Mid UX/UI Designer
Location: Cape Town South Africa (Hybrid)
Salary: R22000 R27000 per month

About the Role
They are looking for a talented Junior Mid UX/UI Designer to join their growing product team. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of user experience design principles an eye for engaging user interfaces and the ability to collaborate effectively with developers stakeholders and marketing teams. You will work closely with the Senior UX Designer to create seamless intuitive and visually appealing user experiences.

Key Responsibilities
- Design wireframes prototypes and highfidelity UI designs for web and mobile applications using Figma.
- Apply usercentered design principles to develop intuitive and accessible interfaces.
- Contribute to design systems and UI components to maintain consistency across platforms.
- Conduct usability testing and collect user feedback to refine designs.
- Analyse data from tools like Hotjar and Mixpanel to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in developing user personas journey maps and UX artifacts to inform design decisions.
- Work closely with developers to ensure the design vision is effectively implemented.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align branding and UX across digital touchpoints.
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and crossfunctional teams.
Requirements & Skills
- Bachelors degree in UX/UI Design HumanComputer Interaction Graphic Design or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in UX/UI design preferably in SaaS or B2B applications.
- Proficiency in Figma (Auto Layout Components Design Systems Prototyping).
- Basic understanding of frontend development principles.
- Experience with usability testing tools and datadriven design.
- Strong visual design skills including typography color theory and layout principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
