- Up to 12.66 per hour dependant on qualification and experience
- 20 hours per week during Term Time 10 hours per week during school holidays
- Permanent

We are seeking an motivated friendly and hardworking individual to join the Copdock and Washbrook Preschool and Out of School Club team as a Preschool Assistant for ideally 20 hours per week but alternative hours considered.
You will be expected to work together with the manager and other staff to provide children aged 25 with high quality early learning and care and to work through the wrap around provision with older children up to the age of 11.
The current PreSchool Ofsted rating is good.
Your responsibilities
- The role of childcare assistant is to support the manager and team in providing high quality care and early education for all children.
- Setting up and clearing away of the Preschool environment.
- Delivering activities and supporting young children in their learning.
- Providing healthy and nutritious snacks and meals.
What you will need
- Good understanding of the EYFS framework and regard to all safeguarding regulations.
- Previous experience of working in Early years setting is desirable.

The PreSchool sessions run in termtime 10 hours per day. Holiday club operates up to 3 days per week and includes children aged 2 11. The Preschool can accommodate a maximum of 18 children per session.
