ABOUT US:
We are Ottawas premium wood preserving experts delivering the highest standard in quality exterior wood finishing. Serving the Ottawa area since 2016 Sand & Stain has been an industry leader in staining decks fences pergolas and more. We are a locally owned business that operates in both the East & West end of Ottawa.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are looking for energetic and reliable individuals to join our team as Wood RestorationTechnicians! This is a great opportunity for students or anyone looking for rewarding outdoor work with competitive pay. No prior experience is requiredwe provide all necessary training and equipment. The job involves sanding and staining decks pergolas fences and other exterior wood surfaces. Most jobs are prebooked and work is done in small teams of 24 people. A car is an asset as some jobs are outside the city but carpooling could be available. Our team is young fun and many return year after year. Strong performers may have opportunities for leadership and scheduling responsibilities with additional pay. With flexible hours great outdoor work and better pay than fast food jobs this is an ideal summer job!
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
COMPENSATION:
Our staff are paid on a per project basis. Bonuses are available for number of hours produced and quality ratings.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have access to a vehicle
- Open to working flexible hours 3060 hours / week)
- Able to travel to either the eastend or westend of Ottawa
- Strong time management skills
- Solid attention for detail
- Reliable & Punctual
- Ability to work alone and with a team
- Good English communication skills
