Job Title: Vehicle Damage Assessor
Location: StourbridgeB63
Salary:Up to 42000 and OTE of Up to 49000
Full Time and Permanent
Monday to Friday 42.5 hours a week No Weekends! Accident Repair Bodyshop

employees our client is a multiawardwinning company boasting 35 body shops
nationwide.
They are now actively recruiting for a Vehicle Damager Assessor / VDA Estimator for their Bodyshop in Stourbridge.
Main Purpose of role:
Produce initial and updated estimates as specified by insurers/customers ensuring that
the vehicle repair can be carried out safely to correct specification efficiently and that
by doing so a satisfactory profit margin can be generated.

You must be able to:
Plan your workload effectively to ensure vehicles are ready for agreed timescales.
Work skillfully and safely under pressure.
Carry out work in accordance with the manufacturers specifications.
Work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision.
Be flexible in your approach.
Continually work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind.
You will ensure that all tasks carried out follow our Health and Safety guidelines; for example wearing all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and keeping all work areas clean and tidy
Responsibilities
Assess vehicle damage accurately and provide detailed reports to customers.
Utilize mechanical knowledge to identify necessary repairs and recommend solutions.
Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accurate recordkeeping.
Promote additional services through upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction.
Maintain a valid driving license to facilitate vehicle assessments and test drives as needed.
Technical Job Knowledge:
The level and scope of the Vehicle Damage Assessor will be to maintain the outcomes of VDA Accreditation Audatex IMI Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 Level 3 ADAS and IMIAL Level 3 Hybrid & Electric Vehicle.
It is expected that the job holder will research emerging technical knowledge and automotive developments that may be present within present and future vehicles that may affect the repair following accident damage. This may involve consequential formal training distance or remote training.
A minimum of 3 years VDA experience is preferred and candidates must hold a full and valid driving licence.
