Responsibilities
What youll be able to do:
Software Validation Engineerpositions offered by Ford Motor Company (Palo Alto CA). Exercise autonomy in supporting the development of autonomy electrification and smart mobility technologies. Develop test procedures plans automated scripts and cases. Provide mentorship to junior team members in order to perform automated and manual test results analysis root cause analysis and verifications. Collaborate crossfunctionally with technical specialists feature owners development teams and other test teams in support of testing and development activities of features to understand testing requirements and implement required test tools and tests scripts as well as bring ideas from proofofconcept into production.
Qualifications
Youll have...
- A bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering Computer Science or a related field and
- 5 years of experience in the position offered or 5 years of experience performing automotive software development or validations.
- Also requires 5 years of experience utilizing software testing and quality assurance methodologies.
- In lieu of a bachelors degree and 5 years of experience as stated the employer will accept a masters or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 3 years of experience as stated.
- Requires 3 years of experience providing feature testing support for Automotive Electronic Control Units (ECU); and
- Requires 3 years of experience designing and testing embedded systems for high performance high reliability computing applications.
- Employee reports to office in Palo Alto CA. Position may work from home but must live within commuting distance of stated office.
- Experience may be but need not be acquired concurrently.
We are offering a salary of $216590 to $223860 per year.
