Description

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and Wake Forest University School of Medicine is seeking a full time orthopaedic surgeon with subspeciality training in either adult reconstruction or sports medicine in Lexington North Carolina. Candidates without a fellowship and appropriate skill set and experience will also be considered.

About the Position:

  • The selected individual will be actively involved in both inpatient and outpatient clinical duties with education and research expected
  • Candidate can treat conditions related to orthopaedic surgery including arthroplasty sports medicine and fractures
  • Orthopaedic resident and fellow teaching clinical and laboratory research opportunities available if interested
  • Patient care in an established and busy subspeciality orthopaedic practice in Lexington and Salisbury North Carolina
  • Call expectations in alignment with other orthopaedic surgeons not to exceed 46 nights per month general orthopaedic call at a regional hospital

Position Requirements:

  • Candidates must be eligible for NC Medical License.
  • Candidates without a fellowship and appropriate skill set and experience will also be considered.
