Metro is looking for a motivated and passionate Occupational Therapist to provide coverage for our outpatient facilities on a per diem basis with opportunities throughout Suffolk County. Come be a part of a growing organization in a progressive supportive and innovative team!
Responsibilities:
- Provide oneonone treatment
- Plan prepare and carry out individually designed programs of occupational treatment to maintain improve or restore physical functioning alleviate pain and prevent occupational dysfunction in patients.
- Custom Splint Fabrication for Patients
- Perform and document an initial exam evaluating the data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention.
- Develop and guide plans of care which encourage compliance and produce the best results for your patients.
- Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit.
- Must be willing to treat all ages and have sensory integration experience.
- Occupational Therapist Program Graduate.
- NY Occupational Therapy License or eligible.
- Minimum 12 years of practicing OT experience.
- Certifications Required: CPR/First Aid
