Directions for Youth & Families offers communitybased mental health and prevention services that utilize a resiliencyoriented and traumainformed framework. DFYFs programs are divided into 3 categories: Treatment Prevention and Education. DFYF offers specialized mental health counseling kindergarten readiness afterschool and summer programming to meet the diverse needs of our youth and family population. DFYF proudly serves over 6300 youth adults and families each year. All of our programs strive to fulfill our mission to build and inspire hope healing and resilience for youth families and communities through counseling and education.

We are seeking Licensed Social Workers and Licensed Counselors who are passionate about working with youth.
What you will do as a SchoolBased Licensed Social Worker/ Counselor:
The SchoolBased Licensed Social Worker (LSW LISW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC LPCC) provides clinical assessment mental health counseling case management care coordination and support to youth within their designated school. Collaborate with school staff parents and community resources to support youths mental health and wellbeing. As a schoolbased clinician you will assess and document client presenting problems history symptomology mental status and diagnosis. Assist in developing treatment goals and objectives and employ strategies of intervention that are supported by our traumainformed framework.

- Conduct individual sessions with clients to address mental health provide education and support to promote overall wellbeing.
- Collaborate with school staff parents and community resources to support youths mental health and wellbeing
- Maintain accurate and up to date clinical documentation
- Participate in regular supervision and professional development to enhance clinical skills
Requirements:
- Masters degree in Social Work or Counseling or Bachelors degree in Social Work with LSW
- Current Ohio LSW LISW LPC or LPCC license
- Experience working with youth in a schoolbased setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be a selfstarter be able to exhibit flexibility work independently and as part of a team
- Valid Drivers License auto insurance and reliable transportation
