DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Staff Physician 2 you will provide primary medical care to patients. You will work in conjunction with other physicians nurses and medical professionals to medically supervise assigned patients. You will interpret laboratory reports confirm clinical findings diagnose diseases and refer patients to specialists. You will also conduct daily rounds make decisions regarding patient transfers to outside hospitals and provide backup coverage for other physicians. This role requires thorough knowledge of the principles practices and techniques of primary care medicine and a genuine desire to provide attentive care that promotes wellbeing. In addition you will perform monthly medical reviews document patient progress and examine new patients upon admission.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday Friday with a 30minute lunch. Your schedule may change based on operational needs.
- Overtime and travel as needed
- Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Three years of experience and/or training in the practice of medicine.
Special Requirements:
- You must be in possession of a license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as issued by the State Medicine Board orthe State Osteopathic Medicine Board.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirementis currentlywaived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- You must pass a background investigation.
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and a drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including but not limited to PA State Police and FBI clearance.
