Aldwark Manor Estate is a privately owned Hotel with Golf nestled in a picturesque village between York and Harrogate. Set in 185 acres of beautiful countryside this luxury Hotel provides a complete escape for both business and leisure guests and is a popular venue for weddings as well

Over the last few years the Hotel has undergone major renovations in the bedrooms restaurant residents lounge sports bar and all public areas with further plans to redevelop and expand throughout 2025 increasing the number of Bedrooms selfcontained Golf facilities as well an opulent new Spa with stateoftheart facilities.

Main duties and purpose of the role:

As Bunkers F&B assistant you are responsible for helping your department to deliver an excellent Guest and Team Member experience in accordance with the Aldwark Manor Estate Service Standards. The working times will be between 7am and Midnight working 5 days per week including evenings weekends and bank holidays.

F&B Assistants need food service and waiting skills alongside excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate well with guests. F&B Assistants also need excellent knowledge of food preparation and hygiene standards as well as the ability to work well as part of a team. A successful F&B Assistant candidate will have various prerequisite skills and qualifications that typically include:

• Experience of working in a Restaurant or Bar and/or Retail environment
• Ability to work in different areas of Food and Beverage including Breakfast Bar Restaurant Conference and Events
• Excellent communication skills with a passion for guest service
• The ability to complete all tasks given in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensure compliance with brand standards
• Manage guest queries and complaints in a timely and efficient manner
• Carry out duties correctly to help assist Bunkers Manager with achieving financial targets
• Carry out cleaning duties as assigned to you with an awareness of Safety and Security policies and procedures ensuring relevant records are completed daily
• Ensure wastage and breakages are recorded correctly and assist with ordering of stock as required
• Ensure the Golf Shop runs effectively in the absence of the Golf Shop Assistant or Head Of Golf

Complete company training modules as required to ensure compliance with relevant Health & Safety policies and procedures
