Inviting applications for the role of PTP AP Merchandise Domain Trainee German Remote EMEA/ EU!
In this role you will manage and oversee the accounts payable (AP) processes for merchandise ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Responsibilities
Process and verify invoices related to merchandise purchases.
Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure proper documentation and approval of invoices.
Maintain accurate records of all AP transactions.
Assist in monthend closing activities by preparing AP reports and reconciliations.
Provide support to vendors and internal stakeholders resolving invoicerelated queries and issues.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in AP processing.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
Fluency in German and a strong command of English
Bachelors degree in accounting finance or a related field
Relevant years of experience in PTP invoice processing and helpdesk
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Effective communication skills both written and verbal
Experience working in the retail industry / with retail clients
Knowledge of additional languages
