Job Description
Well established and growing cardiology group in Gulfport Mississippi seeks to hire an additional Cardiothoracic Surgeon. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly skilled team that includes 14 cardiologists and a strong cardiovascular program.
Position Highlights:
- Join a wellrespected team with14 cardiologists
- Need for asecond Cardiothoracic Surgeonto support growth
- 1:2 call schedule Very light call
- Position open to J1 & H1B visa candidates

Hospital features advanced medical technology including:
- Level III Neonatal ICU(the only one in the region)
- Mississippis first nationally certified Primary Stroke Center
- CyberKnifeandda Vinci Xi Robotic Assisted Surgery Systems
- Electronic Medical Records and threedimensional imaging
Procedures & Case Volume:
- 130 Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) cases per year
- Valvular Surgeries Aortic Bypass Grafting Surgeries and Thoracic Surgeries
- 100 Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacements (TAVR)
- 100 Left Atrial Appendage Occlusions (LAAO)
- Coronary Artery Catheterizations
- DesignatedSTEMI receiving center
Growing Cardiovascular Program:
- 17 Cardiologistsand1 Electrophysiologist
- 2 additional Cardiologistsjoining soon
- One Cardiovascular Surgeon has been maintaining the surgical needs of the program for several years
