As we support the growing needs of our global customers with our market leading technical solutions we look to engage a committed full time Inventory Control Specialist o work alongside our talented supply chain team at our National Head Office based inSouth Melbourne.

This is a permanent fulltime role requiring 5 days working from our Head Office 8.30am4.30pm approx.

The role:

As ourInventory Control Specialist you will be an organised logical thinker who thrives in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Working as a key part of our Purchasing & Logistics team you will play a crucial role in supporting the accurate and efficient management of inward goods and inventory associated with the maintenance and production of our innovative road safety tech products. Your responsibilities will include receiving storing and distributing materials inspecting incoming shipments organising inventory and coordinating with other departments to fulfill critical client orders.

As a Inventory Control Specialist at Verra Mobility you will:

• Inventory Management: Receive inspect and dispatch goods manage material orders and registers and support accurate stock takes.
• Stock Control: Store label and track raw materials tools and components ensuring secure and efficient handling across all areas.
• Logistics Coordination: Prepare packing lists and dispatch documentation book carriers and route shipments to meet delivery specifications.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean safe and organised warehouse environment in line with company standards.
• Support and Optimization: Assist internal teams with material requests contribute to inventory accuracy and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Collaboration and Compliance: Work cooperatively with staff customers and suppliers and conduct all tasks in line with OH&S requirements.

The ideal candidate is an organised and logical thinker with a knack for working both independently and within a team. They are a clear and concise communicator who excels at building relationships and collaborating with diverse stakeholders. Flexibility and adaptability are key as they embrace both reactive and scheduled work assignments. Accountability and quality are paramount and they thrive on constructive feedback. A passion for customer advocacy is essential. The perfect candidate will possess knowledge of electronic components manufacturing experience and demonstrated expertise in safe manual handling practices. Proficiency inSAP and ERP along with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel is required.Experience in shipping practices and strong communication skills are a must along with a valid Australian Drivers License.A current Forklift License is highly desirable but walkie stacker experience a must.
