Job Summary
Excellent opportunity to join a successful wellestablished Insurance Marketing Organization looking to continue our recent growth. The Life Sales Support Consultant supports the company and team goals by building relationships with downline agencies and their agents. The role will be responsible for providing additional support and education illustrations product knowledge and sales positioning. A successful candidate will understand the entire sales process and provide excellent case design licensing contracting and application support.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist agents throughout the sales cycle until they are paid including help with licensing contracting and new business assistance.
Provide sales support and case consultation to agents regarding potential sales opportunities.
Handle outbound and inbound sales requests to existing agents and their staff by telephone and email.
Maintain and update agent information in company database.
Maintain contact with agents/staff through outbound follow up calls on product quotes illustrations and materials sent to agents/staff.
Primary Skills & Requirements:
Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from twoyear college plus one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bachelors degree (B.A. from a fouryear college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior industry experience is preferred. Must have one year of phone sales experience.
Iowa Insurance license required within 90 days.
Excellent verbal and written skills

Must be able to handle customer interactions with confidence and tact
