Shearers Foods the leading manufacturer of private brand and contractmanufactured salty snacks cookies and crackers is pleased to announce the successful acquisition of SuperPufft USA (formerly UTZ). This acquisition aligns with Shearers growth strategy and demonstrates our commitment to providing highquality snacks to better serve our customers. By combining the strengths of SuperPufft Snacks USA and Shearers we anticipate enhanced operational efficiencies improved supply chain capabilities and increased geographical reach.
CDL Driver
$20 per hour
Night Shift 6pm6am
Continental Schedule (days of during the week and every other weekend is three days off)
Your seat at the best snacks table:
- Safely drive trucks between Perry location Warehouse and food manufacturing plant to meet scheduled customer delivery times
- Carefully unload products from the trailer with a twowheeler pallet jack forklift or by hand and place in designated storage areas
- Utilize jockey trucks to move trailers between storage locations and manufacturing facility
- Verify accuracy of truck loads and obtain proper signatures
- Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience
- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80 lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required
- Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops 10 per shift) required
What you bring to the party:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- Experience driving and operating forklifts and hand lifts
- Minimum of six months commercial driving experience or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required
- Proven safe driving record
- Ability to operate manual transmission preferred
