What We Need YOU To Do:
The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency wants you to be our newest senior financial analyst in the Division of Surface Water (DSW) at our Central Office in Columbus Ohio.

As DSWs senior financial analyst youll research and analyze complex financial information to resolve errors modify data and determine appropriate action for DSW. Youll process and analyze revenue from multiple funding sources including fees for issuing permits licenses registrations and federal grants. Youll also review federal subsidy payment requests create invoices and vouchers for processing via OAKS or by Shared Services and process and track purchase requisitions and accounts payable.
Additionally youll be a liaison to troubleshoot any financial issues questions and communications with the Office of Financial Assistance or Shared Services staff utilizing OAKS reports to track payments and troubleshoot issues when necessary. Youll administer the fiscal aspects of grants collaborating with program offices to assemble review and analyze documents for grant applications.
Youll adjust and monitor financial data for programs with multiple funding sources multiple line items and a variety of passthrough fund sources and recipients. Youll evaluate budget implementation reporting results to the divisions financial manager. Youll monitor spending to prevent overspending and recommend the approval or disapproval of proposed expenditures.
