Role is remote with travel as needed; Kansas City location

Description

Under the direction of the Regional Sales Director the Key Account Manager is dedicated to a specific Major Distributor account and is responsible for directing and coordinating the of plans/programs with Field Sales. Works closely with the Regal Rexnord Motion Control Solutions and Commercial and Industrial Motors Regional Sales Directors MCS District Managers and Manufacturers Representative Sales team in order to achieve established objectives. Is accountable for RRX MCS and Commercial and Industrial Motors total sales programs and activities for specified Major Distributor account.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the development and implementation of comprehensive sales plan that includes new and existing sales strategies for a single large account or for several smaller accounts.
  • Drives a crossregional sales team and internal employees to penetrate key accounts and aggressively expand relationships with national distributor accounts.
  • Gathers detailed information about accounts identifies decisionmakers understands strategic business challenges and priorities significant accounts which may span multiple Regal businesses or geographies and leads team in analyzing information and prioritizing opportunities critical to success.
  • Works daily with CRM to input and analyze activities across national accounts. Utilizes CRM dashboards on a daily basis to help communicate progress against established objectives.
  • Promotes and helps lead CRM and Documented Cost Savings and uses processes to communicate Regal value propositions to national accounts.
  • Ensures professional sales coordination and account planning and resolves any account ownership issues as it pertains to national accounts.
  • Monitors industry trends and changing regulations to ensure competitiveness and compliance.
  • Adhere to all company policies values procedures and business ethics codes.
  • Conduct yourself in accordance with corporate guidelines policies and standards of professionalism and set examples in areas of personal character commitment organizational and selling skills and work habits.
  • Control expenses to meet budget guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in Technical Business or Marketing preferred
  • 5 years experience preferred; sales experience in Power Transmission & Bearings Industry
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Competent in MS Office applications / CRM Management / Business application software

Pay Transparency $125000 to $140000 base salary variable compensation

Please note that compensation is based on a variety of factors when extending offer including but not limited to the role responsibilities market considerations candidate experience education qualifications and business considerations.
