Fulltime Grounds & Maintenance role at busy resort
Location: Phillip Island Victoria
About Us

The flagship of CYCs six venues the Phillip Island Adventure Resort is an expansive facility situated on 80 acres of landscaped grounds in the heart of Cowes. It offers accommodation for over 600 guests featuring airconditioned guest rooms with ensuites and a variety of onsite activities including giant swings swimming pools high and low ropes courses canoeing raft making sand volleyball indoor rock climbing archery and the only Quad Flying Fox in the southern hemisphere!!
The resort is a purpose built complex catering for large bookings and is a popular destination for educational groups community and church groups school camps corporate retreats and holiday camps.
About the Role
We are looking for a fulltime Grounds & Maintenance team member who is able to work autonomously and also part of a team and who is passionate about working outdoors. The position is responsible for the upkeep and aesthetic enhancement of our grounds ensuring that our facilities continue to reflect the high standards we uphold and that we maintain a safe environment for guests visitors and staff alike.
Key responsibilities:
- Routine lawn maintenance garden bed cultivation soil pest & management
- General grounds maintenance inclusive of water features roadways lighting outdoor furniture & waste management
- Operation & routine maintenance of gardening and landscaping equipment
- General facilities & buildings maintenance
- Other related duties as assigned
About You
If youd love a hands on job working outdoors with a tight knit team then this might be the role for you!
Personal attributes:
- General facilities & buildings maintenance experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of gardening techniques and processes (preferred)
- Experience operating landscaping equipment (e.g. whipper snipper mower hedger blower)
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods
- Strong work ethic
- Drivers license (preferred)
Essential requirements:
- A Victorian employee Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid rights to work in Australia
- Willing to work weekends as rostered
