Job Title: PPM Carpenter Lakeland FL
Job Summary:
MOR PPM Inc. seeks Industrial Carpenters for a job in Lakeland FL. This is a full time temporary position. Must have proper knowledge and experience in operating hand and power tools consistent with Industrial Building.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Cut fabricate and install Industrial buildings and other structures according to specifications
Job will entail working in diverse settings to produce steady and functional infrastructures and products
A carpenter is an individual with great hand dexterity and an eye for detail
Measure layout build forms pour concrete and finish project.
Ideal candidate will also have good knowledge of wood properties and other carpentry materials and masonry work
Being able to work with little supervision while following all health and safety standards is essential.
Experience:
Minimum of 1year experience with working in a carpentry role.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Use effective verbal and written communication skills. Add subtract multiply and divide whole numbers and fractions rapidly and accurately.
- Move in and around confined and cluttered places and uneven areas. Full range of motion and flexibility.
- Must possess a valid drivers license.
Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:
- Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign
- May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
- Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
- Must have full range of motion consistent with age
- Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
- Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees alarms and other jobrelated noises
- Visual acuity depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
- Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
