Job Description

OPPORTUNITY:

PsyPhyCare a division of Business Staffing of America Inc. is seeking to contract with a Substance Abuse Counselor for a Federal supported client in Edison NJ 08817

DESCRIPTION:

Responsible to develop and facilitate the Centers alcohol drug and tobacco prevention program. Educates and counsels students to reduce and prevent drugrelated separations from the program. Develops individualized case management plans to enhance student retention and success. Ensures confidentiality of sensitive information and compliance with all HIPAA laws.

20 hours per week or 3 days out of the normal work week. The schedule is flexible. The facility is open MondayFriday from 8 AM to 5 PM.

The students ages are 1624.

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelors degree from an accredited school preferred. A minimum of one year experience in drug/alcohol counseling or related field required. Valid InState Certification in Substance Abuse Counseling/Prevention required.

Required license or certification: CADC

Required experience: Counseling: 1 year
