Job Description
Partner Staffingis currently working withour client seeking a highly skilled andmotivated Transportation Engineer to join their dynamic team in Edmonton. Thesuccessful candidate will play a key role in the planning design andimplementation of transportation infrastructure projects including roadshighways bridges and transit systems.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee transportation engineering projects from conceptualdesign through to detailed design and construction.
- Conduct feasibility studies impact assessments and traffic analysis.
- Prepare engineering drawings specifications and cost estimates.
- Collaborate with clients stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams toensure project objectives are met.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers andtechnical staff.
- Ensure compliance with local provincial and federal regulations andstandards.
- Participate in public consultations and stakeholder engagementprocesses.
- Prepare reports presentations and documentation for clients andregulatory agencies.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensuresuccessful project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation in Alberta or eligibility toobtain it.
- 36 years of experience in transportation engineering with a focus onroad and highway design.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D andtraffic analysis tools (e.g. SYNCHRO VISSIM).
- Strong understanding of transportation planning principles trafficengineering and geometric design standards.
- Excellent communication organizational and problemsolving skills.
