Job Description
H2M architects engineers a multidiscipline architectural engineering environmental consulting firm seeks a licensedSenior Architect to join our team in our NYC office.

Come join our multidisciplined team of architects and engineers. Were looking for a Sr. Architect with 10 years experience in the New York City School Construction Authority (SCA) design procedures CAD production and document coordination. In this role you will work in developing and executing SCA design work. Experience with building envelope inspection and construction is desired. Strong verbal and written skills are required while following SCA Design standards. You will also coordinate the efforts of both inhouse and outside teams who handle structural engineering MEP design civil and environmental engineering services.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain /develop relationships with key client personnel for client satisfaction
- Manage all aspects of client relations including attending meetings.
- Makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and have an important impact on extensive architectural activities.
- Key role in development of projects from scope phase through construction documents and services during construction administration
- Ability to demonstrate creativity foresight and mature architectural judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented architectural problems.
- Determine compliance with technical documents SCA specific standards NYC codes and all remaining AHJ requirements (MTA DEP FDNY etc.
- Involved in the analysis of client problems in conceiving and developing architectural solutions to those problems.
- Perform other like duties as assigned.
Education and Qualifications
- 10 years of architectural design experience.
- Extensive knowledge of Architectural Design.
- Exceptional knowledge of AutoCAD
- Exposure to Revit and other BIM software
- SCA experience is required
- The ability to work and thrive in a team environment.
- Knowledge of project specifications & CSI division formatting.
- Strong organizational time management & multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Bachelors degree in Architecture required. Masters preferred.
- Professional RA required.
- LEED accreditation a plus.
Thesalary rangefor this role is $110000 $150000 annually.
