Job Description
Key Accountabilities
This role will support the strategic goals and daytoday operations of the Events team. The candidate will be involved in the development planning and of all events in the Americas region both in person and virtual as well as the firms participation in industry conferences. This individual will also support corporate events such as the firms annual Global Investor Conference and collaborate with colleagues to execute other priority global initiatives as needed.

The successful candidate will be highly organized and detail oriented with strong time management leadership and collaboration skills. Most of all the candidate must be passionate about creating an exceptional client experience in all engagements.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Oversee and maintain the event calendar and plan for the Americas; field incoming event requests and facilitate senior leader decisionmaking for each opportunity
Coordinate and execute all aspects of Americasbased Brookfield events providing logistics support (venue & vendor research catering support materials AV rooming lists registration and onsite support etc)
Assist with conference logistics required for sponsorships including but not limited to: conference checklists and duedates for submission of materials speaker registration prep calls rooming lists client dinners/receptions venue research marketing materials post conference surveys
Coordinate with Branding on event deliverables to include invitations signage and all event related assets; create and manage eventrelated invitations and registration sites using Cvent event tool
Collaborate and contribute to the successful of the Brookfield Investor Conference corporate events board meetings seminars as needed
Compile preand postevent documents (event strategy plans briefing memos postmortems)
Manage postevent documents (final costs/budgets postevent document feedback forms)
Provide regular updates and communication to key stakeholders report on metrics and key takeaways
Candidate Profile:
A degree in Business Administration Communications Marketing Events or related field
23 years professional experience
Meticulous attention to detail and a strong passion for planning events
Ability to handle a fastpaced work environment multitask and prioritize
Organized proactive and selfmotivated individual
Ability to keep calm and problem solve quickly under high pressure moments
Strong communication presentation and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to deal effectively at all levels within the organization
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook PowerPoint Word Excel) and event management tools (GlobalMeet Cvent etc)
Ability to stay focused efficient and effective in managing multiple priorities
Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment
Team player
Ability to travel to event sites and locations
Overtime as needed
Salary Range: $90K $105K
Our compensationstructure is comprised ofa base salary and a shortterm incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensationtends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive. Compensation decisions are based on a number of factors including relative experience overall years of experience industry experience education and designations
