Heres your chance to secure a great role in Sutherland as an Intermediate Accountant.
The firm is committed to providingsuperior accounting and taxation servicesto a wide range of clients with your focus predominately being on individual client returns.
Reportingdirectly to the business Tax Manageryour role as an Intermediate Accountant will include:
Preparation of Financial Accounts using ourMYOB Xero and HandiSoft products
Preparation ofIncome Tax Returns for Companies Trusts Partnerships Individuals and SelfManaged Superannuation Funds (the majority of clients for this role will be individual returns).
Preparation of Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements using the Tax Agent Portal.
Meet ATO and other deadlines with respect to the allocated clients.
Keep up to date with the relevant legislation and adhere to the professional standards as required by our professional associations and relevant regulators.
Working under minimal supervision.
Dealing with Clients; face to face over the phone and via email relating to their tax and accounting matters.
Dealing with the ATO on behalf of clients.
Your background will include:
Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Economics
Minimum 3 years business services experience in the Australian market
Experience meeting with clients face to face and preparing individual returns
