Job Title Professional Coordinator
Coordinate the tracking of all returnable packaging within our Business Unit and between SEWS and their various customers with reporting of weekly/monthly container management numbers to the Packaging Engineering Manager. Work with internal customers to review and repair/s nonconforming returnable packaging
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Track all returnable totes knockdown bins returnable pallets and returnable top caps between ECSC SEWS Mfg Sites and Customer Locations.
- Submit customer logistics spreadsheets to all customers on a monthly basis showing the over/under of returnable container shipments and returns.
- Travel to SEWS contracted returnable packaging storage sites to assess and resolve returnable container shortages and overages.
- Investigate and report any returnable container losses that may occur throughout all logistics processes
- Assist Packaging Engineering Manager with process improvements and cost savings activities regarding Container Management strategies
- Provide updates on monthly KPI reporting to the Packaging Engineering Manager
- Manage the returnable container shipments to internal Mfg facilities when container inventory levels fall below established minimums
- Update current tracking systems and develop new tracking systems to improve the retention of returnable container fleet.
- Review RFID and other methods of tracking returnable packaging; updating Packaging Engineering Manager as to costs and benefits.
Qualifications
- HS GED or Technical Certificate required along with 13 years working in hourly plant operations
- Travel: Minimal travel (generally only to our packaging warehouse locations in El Paso and Juarez).
- Strong standard math skills.
- English fluency required.
- Spanish language skills strongly desired.
- Proficient in Microsoft Applications Suite (Excel PowerPoint Word).
