Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Must be able to work the hours of 10:00 am5:00 pm.
- Provide personalized educational support to the child in a preschool setting.
- Implement structured learning activities that align with the childs Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) and developmental needs.
- Use evidencebased strategies to promote communication sensory regulation and social interactions.
- Collaborate with teachers therapists and parents to track progress and adjust learning strategies as needed.
- Assist with daily routines transitions and adaptive skills to foster independence.
- Use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage appropriate behaviors and engagement.
- Maintain detailed progress notes and reports on the childs development.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Must pass required state and company background checks.
- Experience working with children with autism or developmental delays (preferred).
- Background in early childhood education special education ABA therapy or a related field (preferred).
- Strong patience empathy and communication skills.
- Ability to implement structured routines and behavioral interventions.
- Knowledge of visual supports AAC devices and other communication aids is a plus.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
