About Redwood Materials
Essential Duties:
As the Revenue & AR Senior Accountant you will be a key member of our corporate accounting team responsible for assisting in all Revenue & AR Recognition across our global operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of an emerging growth company while leveraging your expertise in Revenue & AR accounting within a dynamic and fastpaced environment.
Responsibilities Will Include:
- Support the Revenue and AR recognition process ensuring compliance with US GAAP and other relevant accounting standards regulations and guidelines.
- Ensure timely and accurate Revenue Recognition and AR accounting in accordance with US GAAP and SEC regulations including monthly close procedures with a firm understanding of the revenue recognition standards.
- Preparation of Key Deliverables including:
- Revenue & Billing Workbooks
- Account Reconciliations
- Customer Specific Summaries & Analysis
- Relevant Month and Quarter End Financial Commentary
- Assist in managing the development implementation and adherence to accounting policies procedures and internal controls relating to Revenue and AR accounting ensuring accurate timely and compliant financial reporting.
- Work closely with Business Development/Commercial Operations teams to ensure early engagement and communication on new contracts amendments and invoicing issues.
- Work closely with external auditors preparing and providing necessary documentation and support to ensure a smooth and timely audit process.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to monitor and manage customer budgets forecasts and actuals.
- Participate in the design and implementation of financial systems and tools to drive continuous improvement in Revenue and AR accounting processes.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or related field; CPA certification preferred.
- 3 years of relevant accounting and financial reporting experience.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP including ASC 606 and other relevant accounting standards.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel and experience with Oracle ERP system a plus.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detailoriented with strong organizational and time management skills capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex accounting concepts to nonaccounting colleagues.
- Selfmotivated and proactive with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
The position is fulltime. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
