The Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health center serves adolescents and young adults from 10 to age 21 with autism spectrum disorders intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral and emotional disorders. Each year many children and adolescents receive specialized care in the environment best suited to the unique challenges they face all with the goal of providing each child with the academic social emotional and life skills needed to flourish in their home community.
This position is responsible to:
- Establishing and maintaining a therapeutic rapport with children/adolescents
- Encourage and provide opportunities for positive peer and social interactions teaching of social skills a sense of community antibulling and problem solving
- Assisting supporting and instructing individuals in selfhelp coping skills and positive behavioral interventions outlined in a clinical treatment plan
- Ensuring individuals are safe healthy and living in a clean environment.
- Planning and implementing positive use of free time through recreational activities and personal leisure skill development
Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Georgia provides programs and services for adolescents. Located in Kennesaw GA.

Qualifications
- Bachelors degreee preferred
- Experience with the IDD population required a plus if you have your RBT certification!
- Must have a valid drivers license
