JOB SUMMARY:

Securitas is a dynamic and innovative Security company dedicated to making the world a safer place. We believe in fostering talent and providing opportunities for growth.

We offer students the opportunity to spend a summer working at one of Securitas US Operating Centers. This internship program offers current college students with realworld applications of business within the North America Shared Services organization. You will participate in a 10week internship located in Parsippany New Jersey for 3240 hours per week.

As a Program Management Office (PMO) Intern you will be an integral part of our team contributing to realworld projects and gaining valuable experience in the field ofProject Coordination. You will have an opportunity to share new perspectives fresh ideas specialized strengths and technical skills to help grow our business.

Successful completion of the internship program could lead to a return internship for the following summer or employment at the organization in the future.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Participate in project design meetings and suggest improvements if necessary
  • Evaluate potential problems and develop solutions
  • Plan and manage team goals project schedules and new information
  • Supervise current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track
  • Manage projectrelated artifacts by ensuring all necessary materials are current properly filed and stored
  • Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals memos meeting minutes and emails
  • Communicate with internal resources to identify and define project requirements scope and objectives
  • Must have ability to explain complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders
  • Other duties as assigned by management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AT ENTRY:

Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference depending upon the nature of the position.

Education/Experience:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Project Management Business Administration or related field.
  • Near graduation preferred but not required.

Competencies (as demonstrated through experience training and/or testing):

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills; capable of maintaining strong relationships
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities
  • Documentation management and ability to use project management tools
  • Attention to details even under pressure
  • Excellent planning organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to successfully manage work relationships with strong interpersonal skills
  • Effective collaboration skills in working with teams and internal/external stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with a keen attention to detail
  • Proven ability to solve problems and think critically
  • Actionoriented

Working Conditions and Physical/Mental Demands:

  • Maintaining composure in dealing with authorities executives clients staff and the public occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situations.
