This is a temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. Note: Permanent and timelimited NC State Government employees must separate from their permanent or timelimited position in order to work in a temporary position. All temporaries are limited to one NC State Government temporary assignment at a time.
Individuals hired into a temporary State job must be fully qualified for the job. This temporary position is located in Raleigh NC Wake County.
Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $20.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application). This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Adult Correction (DAC). This position is located at 1300 Western Blvd Raleigh NC 27606.
This is a professional level position which provides basic and special diagnostic Radiological Services as ordered by the CPHC Medical Staff. The primary responsibility of this position to work in the XRay section.

Work Schedule: This is a first shift position 7:00am3:30pm

Knowledge of methods techniques and operating principles involved in the operation of XRay equipment.
Knowledge of working digital XRay equipment and PACs.
- Knowledge of human anatomy and proper positioning patients to secure desired radiographs.
- Ability to give first aid or handle an emergency situation.
- Knowledge of safety procedures to prevent radiation hazards.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
