Job Summary:
TheSVP Operationsis responsiblefortheclubs leadership strategic direction operations andmembershipgrowthwithin an assigned region.This role drivessuccess bydemonstratingeliteleadershipcapabilitiesandmanaginga region consisting upwards of 25 clubsandtheirleadershipteamswithastrategicmindset. Roughly half of Invited Clubs report directly to an SVP while some clusters of clubs report into a Regional Manager helping SVPs and clubs both. The SVP Operationsis accountableforachieving financialand operationalgoals across theseclubs whiledemonstratingexceptionalleadership coaching influencing andcommunicationskillstoeffectivelyengage withtheregionalteamandcollaboratewithpeers oncrossfunctionalprojects.This roleis akeymemberoftheexecutiveteampromotingcollaboration and innovation across the region that results in bottom line growth. This role reports in to the EVP of Operations.
This position has flexibility to be based in Southern California Northern California Washington Arizona or the DFW metroplex. This is a heavy travel role with 3 weeks in clubs 1 week in office with expectations to be in clubs when member activity is high including evening events and weekends. This ensures that we are consistently driving the member experience that we expect to deliver.
DaytoDay:
- Developandexecutecomprehensivebusinessandfinancialstrategyplansfortheregion. Regularlymonitorperformancemetricsagainsttheseplanstoensurerevenuetargetsareachievedacrossalloperationalareasmakingdatadrivenadjustmentsasnecessaryto optimizeperformance.
- Work collaboratively with functional subject matter experts at the corporate level and their respective regional teams to bring to life strategies that drive the companys strategic objectives.
- Offerstrategic leadership to the Regional Team Members Regional Managers andGeneral Managersonoperational mattersacrosskeyareasincludingAgronomyFacilitiesFitness&WellnessFood&BeverageGolf OperationsMemberExperienceand Membership / Private EventSales.
- Recruitselectdevelopandcontinuallyevaluateaqualifiedteamof Regional Managers andGeneralManagers who in turn are retaining top talent at their clubsensuringtherelationshipsbetweenvalueserviceandmembersatisfaction.
- GuideRegional Managers and General Managersinthecreationandexecutionofstrategicemployee development plans leveraging performance reviews crosstraining goal settingand employee recognition.
- Implement salesmarketingand net revenuestrategiesaligned with financialplans regularly reviewingandadjustingthesestrategiestooptimizeoverallperformance.
- Maintaineffectiveexpensecontrolsystemsandforecastingprocedurestomonitorandmanagedepartmentalexpensesand revenuetopayrollratios.
- Ensureassigned clubs meet financialobligations including debt and leaseagreements whileadhering to GAAP and company policies.
- Hold Regional Managers and General Managers accountable tomemberretentionmetricsanddeveloptargetedstrategiestoenhanceretention rates. Promoteamotivatingteam environment centeredoncollaborationrespectandafocusonmembersatisfaction.
- Identify areas of growth opportunity across the region and work with the senior management and functional SMEs to collaboratively develop strategies and plans and successfully execute those products to drive business results
- Lead through example for the regionbysupportingandenforcingpolicieswhilemaintainingthehighest standardsofethicsand integrity.
- Maintaina highlevel of professionalismand a commitmenttoexcellenceininteractionswithmembers colleagues and sta.
- Inspireandmotivateotherstoachieveexpectedoutcomesfosteringapositiveandproductive team environment.
- Promoteand follow safeworking practices ensuring compliancewith safety guidelines andencouraging others to do the same.

- Maintainanopendoorpolicyprovidingasafespaceforemployeestovoiceconcernsandofferinput without fearofreprisals.
About You:
Required
- Aminimumof3years ofexperiencein multiunit clubmanagement hospitalityorrelatedfield.
- Aminimumof5yearsofexperiencemanagingbudgetsandtheability tomakesoundjudgmentsin expenseallocation to impact profitability.
Preferred
- Bachelorsdegreeorequivalent.
- Preferred certifications include Food Handlers Certificate Alcohol Safety STAR ServiceCertificationSTAR TrainerCertificationTABCCertificationand CPR Certification.
- Skilled in handling highly confidentialmaterial including memberand employeedata withdiscretion and integrity.
- Proficiencyin computerliteracyandspreadsheetsoftware.
- Strong leadership abilities excellent communication skillsand effectiveteam managementareessential.
