Overview
Daifuku Intralogistics North America is the nations leading independent U.S.based provider of intelligent material handling systems. With hundreds of engineers inhouse the company designs manufactures integrates and installs the full spectrum of intralogistics solutions. We provide leadingedge conveyor and sortation systems voice and lightdirected order fulfillment equipment controls and software robotics mezzanines and structures.
Position Overview:
The Senior Staff Accountant will ensure the integrity of accounting information by researching account issues for compliance and developing and following quality control functions over financial transactions.
Responsibilities
- Manages monthend close activities including preparation and review of journal entries reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and various reporting functions
- Revenue recognition review & make necessary adjustments for close
- Research / investigate accounts maintains and reconciles balance sheet accounts and conduct variance analysis
- Preparation of financial statements
- Participates in development and review of annual operating budgets
- Assists in quarterly interim and yearend external/internal audits
- Assists in ad hoc requests as needed
Qualifications
- A Bachelor/Masters in accounting; CPA or CMA preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role and 5 years in total accounting experience
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- SAP or similar ERP experience is strongly preferred
- Strong Microsoft Excel experience / advanced formula knowledge
- PowerBI (Microsoft Data Visualization) or similar experience strongly preferred
- Highly detailoriented and organized
- Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Salary Range*:$80000.00 to $92000.00
*The salary offered to a candidate isbased on several factors includingbut not limited tothecandidates skills jobrelated knowledge and relevant experience as well as internal pay equity.
