In this role the selected candidates will each 1 ensure prospective riders discover and choose public transportation; 2 improve the experience of our existing riders; and 3 coach our hardworking and talented creative/marketing team.
Serving a county with a population larger than 15 U.S. states Metro provides bus paratransit vanpool water taxi and ondemand services and operates the Seattle Streetcar Sound Transit Link light rail and Sound Transit Express bus service. The agencys national honors include Best Large Transit Agency in North America (American Public Transportation Association three timesmost recently in 2018 and Most Equitable Agency in Tackling Climate Change (Federal Transit Administration 2022.
The official King County classification for both positions is Transit Chief Marketing and Service Information. This recruitment may also be used to create a list of qualified candidates to fill future career service vacancies that may occur in the next six months.
