Atrium Health Neurology Atrium Health Neurology leads the Carolinas in advanced neurological care with treatment research rehabilitation and specialty programs and provides a level of expertise unmatched in the region. We are national leaders in the development of quality improvement and clinical outcomes programs in the neurosciences. The growing academic department brings exciting opportunities for innovative patient care teambased care models teaching and research. We are seeking an experienced physician who possesses an authentic compassion for patients and is selfdriven to start a new outpatient neurology practice to service the west Charlotte market.
About the opportunity:
- Seeking experienced neurologist to practice comprehensive scope of neurology care but subspecialty interest is encouraged
- 100 outpatient. No inpatient/hospital responsibilities
- Flexible schedule to include 32 clinical contact hours per week.
- Collegial work environment with excellent referral base
- Access to the regional Carolinas Stroke Network
- Growing academic department with new 4year medical school to open in 2024 brings many exciting growth opportunities.
- Neurology residency begins with its first class in July 2025
- Faculty appointments through Wake Forest School of Medicine available for those interested.
Ideal Candidates Will Be:
- BE/BC in Neurology
- Able and willing to see patients with a wide variety of neurological disorders
- Seeking worklife balance in an area experiencing tremendous growth right outside of Charlotte
