What We Are Looking For
As a Civil Design Engineer you will work on various projects in an environment that fosters creativity collaboration at all levels a culture of support and professional growth. EnSafe emphasizes empowering staff to practice our profession passionately and without limitations.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Leading the engineering and design effort for site civil stormwater drainage industrial wastewater and utility design projects
- Projects include civil design solid waste management/landfill design impoundments and roadway plans and profiles
- Problemsolving across multidisciplinary teams
- Mentor juniorlevel staff and provide direction to design teams
- Participating in and coordinating various design and construction meetings with clients and subcontractors (including Prebid meetings)
- Planning scheduling and conducting detailed phases of design work
- EnSafe is a sell/manage/do organization so your duties will also include marketing/sales support project and practice management and client project involvement where appropriate
What Youll Need:
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering (Masters preferred)
- A minimum of 7 years of civil design experience preferably with an Engineering consulting firm
- Current PE in the respective state or the ability to obtain a PE license
- Previous experience with civil engineering design capabilities with both municipal and industrial clients
- Critical thinking and problemsolving skills
- Strong work ethic
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment
- Group management and mentoring
- Regional travel is required national travel for client meetings is likely
