Work Flexibility: Onsite
As a Software Test Technician you will provide technical support for Neptune to our R&D team by developing and recommending procedures and methods determining root cause and preparing technical reports and documentation for our Instruments portfolio.

This role is onsite 5 days a week in Portage MI.
What you will do:
- Take ownership for the testing effort of software for medical devices
- Develop and execute robust software verification test procedures
- Understand Software and System requirements
- Be responsible for documentation of test procedures and test forms as well as supporting documents
- Drive root cause investigations for failures from software tests
- Work with multidisciplinary teams in software verification and validation testing
What you need
Required:
- High school diploma/GED
- 3 years of applicable experience
Preferred:
- Regulated industry experience such as Medical Aerospace Defense Communication and/or automotive embedded software control experience is a plus.
- Experience with programming languages such as C C C# Python etc.
- Experience with debugging tools and methods
- Strong attention to detail and task organizational skills
