The department may fill positions at the Industrial MachineRepair Mechanic 1 2 or 3 level based upon candidate qualifications and thenature of the assignment.
The names of eligible candidates who successfully completethe selection process will be placed on the highestlevel eligible list forwhich they qualify.
These are the first three titles in the Industrial MachineRepairperson series. Incumbents may progress through levels 2 5 uponcompleting a probationary period at each level competency achievementrequired experience and job performance.
Industrial Machine Repair Mechanics perform preventativemaintenance and repairs to Milwaukee Water Works (MWW) equipment andfacilities operate snow and ice control equipment and perform routine dutiesat outlying booster stations.

The current salary range (PG 7BN) is $50123$62904annually and the resident incentive salary range for City of Milwaukeeresidents is $51626$64791 annually. Appointment above the minimum is possible based upon levelof experience and other qualifications and is subject to approval.

The current salary range (PG 7EN) is $60147$76467annually and the resident incentive salary range for City of Milwaukeeresidents is $61952$78761 annually. Appointmentabove the minimum is possible based upon level of experience and otherqualifications and is subject to approval.
