School Registered Nurse (RN)
Location:Floating Rochester West Side
Schedule:Per diem absence coverage. No nights or weekends!
Job Type: Contract to potential hire
Salary Range:$40/hr

Education & Certification Requirements:
- New York State License as a Registered Nurse (RN) Required
- Current certification in CPR/AED Required
Primary Responsibility:
The Registered Nurse (RN) serves as the medical liaison to classrooms and provides oversight to the Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) staff to ensure highquality student health services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality nursing care in the school setting.
- Assist with health education for students promoting wellness and safety.
- Assess plan implement and evaluate student health needs.
- Develop Individual Health Care Plans (IHCPs) with specific goals objectives and interventions for students with special health needs or chronic health conditions.
- Act as a liaison between the medical community school staff and families regarding student health concerns.
- Support mandated school health programs including immunization and screening initiatives.
- Assess inschool and community healthcare resources to support student wellness.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Special Education Supervisor.
