The Certified Medical Assistant/Receptionist is responsible for providing high quality direct patient care and assisting providers and other clinical staff with patient care and other clinical and administrative duties in a professional manner. Ability to competently and skillfully perform all clinical and clerical functions including but not limited to: vital signs patient interview electronic documentation screening tools lab/specimen prep point of care collection and processing filing processing records answering phones verifying insurance scheduling appointments and processing referrals. Must provide ageappropriate care in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the patient served.
