QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLSET

  • Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of materials management logistics and supply chain processes.
  • Ability to interpret engineering documents and specifications.
  • Experience in inventory management procurement coordination and materials control.
  • Proficiency in materials control systems processes and relevant software tools.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to identify and address materialrelated challenges.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
  • Experience working in the energy chemicals or resources sector is advantageous.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Material Controller II plays a key role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of materials and equipment for Worleys projects. This position involves reviewing blueprints and specifications to determine material needs maintaining accurate inventory records and coordinating with engineering and procurement teams. The role is instrumental in supporting the companys mission of delivering sustainable energy chemical and resource solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review engineering blueprints and product specifications to determine material requirements.
  • Maintain an accurate materials control system to support construction installation and operational needs.
  • Ensure proper receipt storage and distribution of materials and equipment to maintain efficiency onsite.
  • Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to manage material requirements and updates.
  • Identify inventory gaps and recommend solutions to optimize supply chain processes.
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving materialrelated issues to prevent project delays.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth material flow.
